Visiting Water Temple
Water Temple Ulun Danu is situated on the shores of Lake Bratan in Bedugul region of Bali. Built in 1663, this holy temple is known for its seemingly look of floating gracefully above the water. People around the area present offerings on a regular basis to the River and Lake Goddess named Dewi Danu whom they believe is protecting Lake Bratan, a main source of irrigation in Central Bali. Visiting Water Temple makes for a great warming up in the early morning before the real adventure really kicks off. Water Temple Ulun Danu also makes a grand appearance on the current Indonesian fifty thousand rupiah note.
Swimming at Secret Garden
Tour continues with a refreshing swim at the jaw-dropping and spine-tingling Secret Garden, a site so well hidden in a village in the northern part of Bali that even most of the locals have never set foot on it. During the dry season, water is translucent and we can see the bottom of the natural pool very clearly. 10 am we reckon is the best time to be taking a dip in the pool of Secret Garden as the sun starts to radiate and shine through the entire setting. Beautiful doesn’t even do it justice. Wait until you finally cast your eyes on it!
Jumping off Kembar Waterfall
Not every waterfall in this world is fun and feasible for jumping (into the water). But the one in Singaraja called Kembar will surely spoil you to the bone. There’s no way you’re going to go home and not remember that you actually just jumped from a 10 meter high bali waterfall. Experience what we like to call around here with “waterfall hangover”. It will surely put your bravery against height to the test. We hail Kembar as the most fun waterfall in the entire island of Bali for a reason — because it does not disappoint. So what are you waiting for buddy? Adventure tour with the gang in North Bali is just within a few clicks.
